Bel-Ayre Robbins Appointed Valence Supply Chain Manager
It is critical that we mature our engagement with our Valence supply chain for paints, chemicals, and facility equipment / protective gear, as we look to increase our throughput and service level to our customers. In the last 12-18 months, we have suffered shortages of paints, bond primers and other required inputs to our processing lines. Additionally, we have experienced inflationary cost increases that have impacted our profitability.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of the newly created Supply Chain Manager role that will have authority and oversight over all Valence material spending.
Please join me in welcoming Bel-Ayre Robbins, as our new Supply Chain Manager, who will be located at our El Segundo Headquarters. It is expected that she will spend significant time at our operating locations driving material supply chain solutions.
Bel-Ayre has spent nearly two decades working for global Fortune 500 companies in Supply Chain Management roles streamlining Supply Chain Operations. Some of the focus areas for her assignments have included Supplier Sourcing, Product Management, Planning & Procurement, and Warehousing & Logistics.
She has an undergraduate degree in Corporate Finance from the California State University, Fullerton and has earned an MBA in Supply Chain Management from the University of LaVerne.
Mrs. Robbins is taking an integrated approach to streamlining Supply Chain Operations. She is working on creating resilient and sustainable processes that deliver quality results and drive supply chain profit optimization within VST. She will report to Andrew Brandenburg, Vice President for Operations and will work across all VST North America locations.
